A215 Creative Writing

Posted by Andrew on January 6th, 2007

A215 Creative Writing is a fantastic writing course run by the Open University.

I did A215 in 2006 and and thoroughly enjoyed it, I would recommend it to any aspiring writer out there.

Here is some more of my A215 stuff:-

Just to say that I too really enjoyed the course and it galvanised me into writing like nothing else has done. However, do be prepared for the fact that most of the writing you will be doing, both in terms of exercises and TMAs will be more like short stories rather than novels. (Apart from poetry, of course.) You are not doing a course entitled ‘How to write a Novel’. This may sound obvious but there were some people last year who were suprised by this and thus felt disappointed and somewhat shortchanged by the course.

Something to say?
